Card Swap

Today I went to my first card swap. It was so much fun that I signed up for next month too. We had 10 ladies in it and we all had to make 11 cards. One for each lady and 1 for the scrapbook store to go on display. Everyone voted on the one that they liked the best. We didnt know who made which card until after the vote. Tina won this time with a really cute flower pot card that has sunflowers on them. The winner gets a written certificate and a gift certificate to the shop. I brought home some really neat cards today and cant wait for next months swap. I want to think of something really fun. If you have any suggestions, let me know. Hello friends!

Woohoo!!!! I recieved my ATG gun in the mail yesterday. Im so excited. Cant wait to use it. I went to my studio today to work on a few projects and I ended up rearranging the room instead. I also got my things together that Im putting in a yard sale at my local scrapbook store. Its Saturday and I cant wait. Hope to find some good deals there.Ill let you know!  Have a great Thursday!

Hey there!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Its beautiful here in sunny SC. I had a great day today!!! This afternoon I decided to ride to the Habitat For humanity restore to see what kind of things they have there. It was kinda cool with all the house things like doors and fixtures and cabinets and such. they also had an area that had miscellaneous things that I went over to look at. Are you ready for this???   I found a box full of ORings for my Bind it All by Zutter. It was only 2.00!!!!! There was a bunch that was tangled all together, but figured that even if i got just 2 or 3 good ones out of it, it would be worth it. I got the box home and set out to un tangle them and realized there was a whole row on the bottom that were in perfect condition and I was also able to get most of the others apart. I GOT 50 ORings. how exciting. And they are all different sizes in black. Totally made my day! Have any of you found any great deals out there? Let me know. I love a good deal!!

Happy National Scrapbook Day!!

Hope everyone is having a fun filled scrapbook day. I spent about 4 hours in my studio making a book with my new Zutter. I can already tell that Im going to use this machine alot. I've only done alittle bit of decorating the inside, but when Im done I will post it for you to see.
 Ive been watching the wonderful things going on on My Pink Stamper. Robyn is so talented and so much fun. The challenges that people are submitting are just gorgeous. Im going to try to do a few of them before its over.

Hope everyone is having a great Thursday! The weather is beautiful here in sunny South Carolina. Ive added a few more projects Ive been working on. I used the "Wild Card" cartridge for this one. A great cartridge with so many neat card shapes with matching envelopes.

Hey there!

I hope everyone had a great funfilled weekend. My husband and I visited my dad and family for his birthday. Church Sunday was great and yummy too.(Lunch after the service). Monday my husband and I took a spur of the moment day trip to Myrtle Beach. Had a great dinner ouside facing the marshes of Murrells Inlet. It was wonderful.
Now for the cool part............ I GOT A ZUTTER bind it all. I found a 40% off coupon to Hobby Lobby in the newspaper and prayed all the way there that they would have one. THEY DID!!!! Woohoo!!
I got the last one too! I told my husband it was meant to be.  lol
Havent tried it out yet, but as soon as I do, Ill post my project.

Happy Friday!!!

Hello everyone! Busy weekend for me. My dads birthday (he turned 83 Wednesday) dinner tomorrow night, Seniors day at church Sunday with lunch, and hopefully some scrappying thrown in there too. I added a few more things that I made on here. I hope you like them. Tell me what you think. Be come a follower of the blog too if you arent already one. Id love to see what everyone is making as well. Tomorrow I get to go to Hobby Lobby!!!! Woohoo! I love that place. My husband says I love any place that has scrapbook stuff. And he is right of course. :) Wish me luck. Hope I find lots of great deals.

I think my favorite of these is the little girl card. It was made with the "A Childs Year" cartridge and my cuttlebug embossing folder. It was a simple card, but came out really cute.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. It was such a beautiful day here in the south. I finally downloaded some of the things Ive been working on these last few weeks. I am getting into stamping more and more. Thats all I need....another addiction, I mean hobby :) Oh well. lol
The birthday card is for my mother in laws birthday, so Shh.....dont tell her.
