Its August already!!!

Hello everyone! I cant believe that it is August already. Where has the summer gone? I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was pretty good. Spent alot of the time at the hospital visiting my sister, but did get alittle scrapping in on Saturday afternoon. My friend Chris had gotten the Cricut Lite cartridge with the holiday flourishes. I love that cart! I borrowed it and made some really cute headings for some of my layouts with it.
Im trying to think of something really cute and fun to make for this months card swap. Any suggestions? Please let me know if you do. I have a few ideas, but always open to new ones.
Below are a few more things that Ive been working on. I have been playing with my Gypsy more and more and designed some cute things.  The black and white grids with the Mickey Mouse heads on the edges are 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. I designed them with the Gypsy and really like the way they came out. I made them to use in the Disney book that Im working on. The paper doll with the Mickey ears are for the book too. I made the chef and cook paper dolls for a cookbook that I am going to make. I think they are too cute! Well hope you like them. Let me know what you think. I love comments! The dolls were cut at 3 inches. I just realized that i didnt put shoes on one of the girls!!  LOL

Well hello there!
I hope this post finds everyone happy and looking forward to a great weekend! I know I am.
I havent posted in several days because of  alot of things going on. But!.....Im here now! I have been to a card swap, a crop, and a day scrapping with friends since my last post. That means I have a bunch to show you.
I have enjoyed reading everyones blogs. They are such an inspiration to me and gets my creativity flowing. I cant wait to hear about CHA Chicago from those of you who got to attend. I so want to go one of these days. Maybe next year. From the live feeds and all the pictures posted,  it looks like some really fun things will be coming out.

This is a Get Well card I made for my sister Carol.

A Christmas card I made for the card swap I was in this month. Below is the inside of the card.

This is a set of cards I made using the Disney Happily Ever After cartridge. They are all A2 size. Notice that I made each one alittle different. I really like the way they came out. below are closeups of a few of them. You can see that I used stickles in the leaves. The insides are blank for writing your own note.

Hey there!

Hope everyone is having a great week! Sorry I havent posted anything in a few days. I have been working on cards for this months swap at my local scrapbook store that I am a part of. Since they are done anonimously, I cant post them until after the swap Sunday. I love how they came out, and will share them as soon as I get back from the swap. I finally have pictures of the book I made that took me FOREVER! I really like how it came out, and the colors are my favorite. I already have my next book planned. A Disney one! This book is not a paper bag book. Just a book with regular pages, but tons of really fun embellishments, pockets, tags, and different pull outs for pictures. Well, here are the pictures. Tell me what you think.

The page in the fron left that has the clip on it, is a pull out for 4 extra pictures and journaling.

Wedding Card

This is the card that I made for the card swap I was a part of this month. The inside says "Celebrate".

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Yesterday I went to a 12 hour crop and of course had a blast. I FINALLY finished a book I had been working on, for what seems like forever. I will post pictures this afternoon. I will be heading out in just a little while to go to a card swap. This is my second one. I love the cards I made and will post it as well when I get back.
 I went to Michaels the other day and found a great box  by Iris that is made for cards. I had seen one on line and had been looking for one for a while now. I was really excited to find one. It will hold tons of cards and has 6 sections to categorize the cards into. Maybe Ill post a picture of it too. Well, Im off to the card swap!

Hello!

I hope everyone is having a great week. Sorry I havent been on in a few days, but I have 2 very energetic little boys staying with us this week. We are having a great time. I have been taking pictures of everything we have been doing and will start making a scrapbook mini album with them today. They are very excited. Ill post some pictures when they finish. Today we are off to the fire museum. Carson and Hampton are ready to go too, so I better go. See ya later!

Hello everyone!! Finally some pictures!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great week. Sorry it took so long to post pictures of the paper bag book I made. I had a ball making it and have several more in mind to do. I used basic brown lunch bags that you can find at any grocery or dollar store. Hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed making it. Tell me what you think.

Its the weekend again!

Hi everyone! hope everyone has a funfilled weekend planned. I know I do. Last weekend I gave the paper bag book that I made, to my friend Ruthie. She loved it! I was so proud of it. It was my first one. Everytime  added something new on it I would tell my husband Mark that I thought I would keep it. lol.. I didnt though,  and Im glad. I took pictures of it before I gave it away and will post them in the next few days.
 If you havent made on, you should. It was so much fun. I already have all kinds of plans in my head for more of them.
