Its December!!!!

Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Well, tomorrow, I start the decoration process around the house. I LOVE Christmas!
I found a few more pictures of some things Ive done a couple of months ago that I want to share. The waterfall card is really neat and was fun  to make. The Thank you card was my first attempt using  SCAL for the actual card part. The grapes were made using a cartridge. The last picture is a heading I made using the Cricut Lite cartridge, Celebrate with Flourishes. I hope you like them. Let me know. I love comments!!!
Happy Crafting!

Kathy

The "Hello" waterfall card.
I love the skates! They will look great on a card!

Happy Friday!!!

I hope everyone had a great week and looking forward to a greater weekend! I'm at Myrtle Beach right now, but about to leave to go back home. Mark and I had a great time. Wonderful weather, shopping, dinner with my aunt and uncle at Fishbone one night, and then Rioz brazilian steakhouse last night. It was nice to get away and celebrate Marks birthday here.
I have a few more projects I want to share with you. Tell me what you think.

Kathy
This monkey was so easy to make. Just 3 circles and 2 small brads for the eyes.

A simple congratulation card using some stampin up products.

I  made this using the "A Childs Year" cartridge.

I love this one. Very simple, yet elegant. This too was made with Stampin' up products.

A few more cards Ive made. I have more to come.

I designed this with my gypsy.
This was the card I won the card swap with.

This was the card I made for Septembers card swap.

A few Thank you cards I made. The first one used Create a Critter, and the second one I used Preserves (I Think) :)

Hello everyone!! Finally some pictures!!!!

Well, I finally downloaded all my pictures of my projects on here. I know its been quite a while, but Im finally done. Seems like I had so much going on these last few months. Between Our trip out west, our trip to my in-laws in Florida and my high school reunion in NY, its been crazy. I have a bunch of things to share though. I went to a stamp camp a few weeks ago. It was my first time attending one, but definately wont be my last. It was alot of fun.
I recently started playing with flower soft and it is really neat. I found an easy way to adhere it to small pieces. I ran the piece of cardstock that I wanted to adhere the flower soft to through my small xyron X with right side down. Then all I had to do is peal and stick the stuff on it. Simple!!! Ill post a picture of that soon.
Ive been working on my my Christmas cards this week. Not quite done yet. I did get my cards for the card swap done too, and Im really pleased with them. Last month I won the vote on the best card at the swap. Would be really cool if I could win again. I guess Il have to wait and see. Everyone in the swap makes such awesome cards. They are all such a talented bunch of ladies. It is so much fun to be a part of. I was truly honored to win. Well here are a bunch of the things I have been working on. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think. I love to hear from you guys. If you arent a follower, please think about becoming one. Just click on the follow button on the left.
Thanks everyone!
Happy Scrapping!!!!
Kathy

This is a card I designed on a whim. I think it came out kinda cute.

I used the Cricut Lite cartridge Celebrate with a Fllourish on these two.

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great week. My husband and I are enjoying some time together. I have been working on a few things and will post them in a day or two. Made a really cute card for the card swap I am in on Sunday. Ill post it on Sunday after the swap.  I cant show you yet because its a surprise. Has anyone been to the huge scrapbook store near Pigeon Forge TN? If so, tell me what you think about it. Ive been wanting to go for a long time now.  Just havent made it there yet.
I was playing around with some circle punches I have the other day and made a cute monkey using 3 circles in 3 different sizes. I didnt come up with the idea though. A girl had made one at the last crop I was at and it was adorable. I made a card and will post it too.
Looking forward to Saturday! Going to a 12 hour crop at my favorite Scrapbook store with my favorite scrapbooking buddies. We always have a blast and Im sure we will this time too.
Well, have a great rest of the week and keep checking in on me, I have a bunch of new things that will be posted!!!
Happy Scrapping,
Kathy

Its August already!!!

Hello everyone! I cant believe that it is August already. Where has the summer gone? I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was pretty good. Spent alot of the time at the hospital visiting my sister, but did get alittle scrapping in on Saturday afternoon. My friend Chris had gotten the Cricut Lite cartridge with the holiday flourishes. I love that cart! I borrowed it and made some really cute headings for some of my layouts with it.
Im trying to think of something really cute and fun to make for this months card swap. Any suggestions? Please let me know if you do. I have a few ideas, but always open to new ones.
Below are a few more things that Ive been working on. I have been playing with my Gypsy more and more and designed some cute things.  The black and white grids with the Mickey Mouse heads on the edges are 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. I designed them with the Gypsy and really like the way they came out. I made them to use in the Disney book that Im working on. The paper doll with the Mickey ears are for the book too. I made the chef and cook paper dolls for a cookbook that I am going to make. I think they are too cute! Well hope you like them. Let me know what you think. I love comments! And....dont forget to join my blog and be a follower.
Kathy
The dolls were cut at 3 inches. I just realized that i didnt put shoes on one of the girls!!  LOL

I havent posted in several days because of  alot of things going on. But!.....Im here now! I have been to a card swap, a crop, and a day scrapping with friends since my last post. That means I have a bunch to show you.
I have enjoyed reading everyones blogs. They are such an inspiration to me and gets my creativity flowing. I cant wait to hear about CHA Chicago from those of you who got to attend. I so want to go one of these days. Maybe next year. From the live feeds and all the pictures posted,  it looks like some really fun things will be coming out.
Here are some of the things Ive been working on. I hope you enjoy looking at them. Let me know what you think, or if you have any suggestions for me to make them better.

This is a Get Well card I made for my sister Carol.

A Christmas card I made for the card swap I was in this month. Below is the inside of the card.

This is a set of cards I made using the Disney Happily Ever After cartridge. They are all A2 size. Notice that I made each one alittle different. I really like the way they came out. below are closeups of a few of them. You can see that I used stickles in the leaves. The insides are blank for writing your own note.

Thanks again for looking!!   I love comments too!!!

Hey there!

Hope everyone is having a great week! Sorry I havent posted anything in a few days. I have been working on cards for this months swap at my local scrapbook store that I am a part of. Since they are done anonimously, I cant post them until after the swap Sunday. I love how they came out, and will share them as soon as I get back from the swap. I finally have pictures of the book I made that took me FOREVER! I really like how it came out, and the colors are my favorite. I already have my next book planned. A Disney one! This book is not a paper bag book. Just a book with regular pages, but tons of really fun embellishments, pockets, tags, and different pull outs for pictures. Well, here are the pictures. Tell me what you think.
Thanks,
Kathy
I added smaller pages in between to  have space to add more pictures.
The page in the fron left that has the clip on it, is a pull out for 4 extra pictures and journaling.

Hope you like it. I just realized I didnt take a picture of the front. lol
I will do that and post it as well.
 Thanks for looking!

Wedding Card

This is the card that I made for the card swap I was a part of this month. The inside says "Celebrate".
All of the cards at the swap were awesome! I signed up for next month. Hmmm....What to do!

Happy Sunday!

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Yesterday I went to a 12 hour crop and of course had a blast. I FINALLY finished a book I had been working on, for what seems like forever. I will post pictures this afternoon. I will be heading out in just a little while to go to a card swap. This is my second one. I love the cards I made and will post it as well when I get back.
I went to Michaels the other day and found a great box  by Iris that is made for cards. I had seen one on line and had been looking for one for a while now. I was really excited to find one. It will hold tons of cards and has 6 sections to categorize the cards into. Maybe Ill post a picture of it too. Well, Im off to the card swap!
See ya later!

Hello everyone!! Finally some pictures!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great week. Sorry it took so long to post pictures of the paper bag book I made. I had a ball making it and have several more in mind to do. I used basic brown lunch bags that you can find at any grocery or dollar store. Hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed making it. Tell me what you think.
Thanks!
Kathy

On the ends of each page ia a pocket with more pictures and tags.

I used my Zutter Bind it All to put the book together. If you dont have one, you are missing out! I love it!!
